Doylestown County Theater at Night 2

This theater gives me such a feeling of nostalgia and excitement of seeing a film that may really have an impact on your life, and never forgetting where you saw it. The couple in the scene is about to head in to have such an experience.

This can be found in the Places gallery in the View My Paintings link.

The Lambertville House

The Lambertville House

I finally painted a portrait of the host of my current Solo Show – The Lambertville House! My paintings have been hanging within their elegant bar and eatery called Left Bank Bistro since May. I have met and sold work to some wonderful people there, and I am most appreciative to everyone and especially the owners for giving me this opportunity. I’ve taken many photos of the place, but I never had one paint-worthy until now. From this angle, the beautiful signage and wrought-iron porch are highlighted in my composition and by the morning sun. It was springtime and the contrast between the foliage and shadows and was glorious. There are usually cars bustling about, but thankfully there weren’t any getting in my way on this morning. The only activity was an elderly woman walking down the sidewalk out for a morning stroll. She was dressed so lovely, and I thought it was wonderful that she was out walking. I couldn’t help but think she probably gets out for walks more than I do! You can find details for this painting in the View My Paintings Link and then click on the Bars and Inns Link. Enjoy!
